Aqua-Floor Radiant Heating
Radiant heating is fast becoming one of the most requested types
of heating systems - and with good reason. Radiant heat works by
heating the objects in the home, not just the air. Warm water is
pumped through tubing and radiates its warmth to the
surroundings. The primary advantage to radiant heat is comfort.
Radiant heat provides a warm, even heat to rooms without all the
hot air rising to the ceiling. It also provides a clean heat,
with no fans to blow dust throughout your home. And, radiant
heat is all hidden below the floor, so there are no baseboards,
radiators, or air ducts to get in the way. Radiant heat is also
a very efficient heat source. Because water temperatures are
generally lower and objects retain heat, radiant heat can
actually save you money over traditional forced hot air systems.
