My Aqua-Therm has been heating my home for many years; it was manufactured in 1984 and is still going strong. It continues to keep me nice and warm on the -40 degree winter nights in the interior of Alaska. I would recommend an Aqua-Therm to anyone tired of paying those never ending fuel oil and natural gas bills. I understand now that Aqua-Therm also offer shaker grates for Coal burning. I have been heating my Alaskan home using a combination of wood, oil, electric or propane since 1983. Last summer I installed an Aqua Therm wood fired boiler. The heater building is 100 feet from the home with enough room for wood storage. The ease of use and lack of mess in the house is wonderful. I spend 10 minutes twice a day loading the Aqua Therm. My wife has had no problems operating the unit and does not mind loading it. Even though we have purchased our wood this year, our heating costs have been cut in half what it was before installing the outdoor furnace. In addition, the safety factor of having the fire away from the home is comforting. Jon and Karen have been great to work with and have always been available to answer all my questions.
